In just a little over three years since stepping away from the fire service our family is making a multi-million dollar investment in our downtown by building a new building to house our bakery. So much for retirement!!!

Hard to believe it is my 3rd anniversary from my fire service retirement. Crazy how fast life changes!!! I never thought I would be so separated from the fire service so quickly. Guess God had other plans for me!! Bring on the pies!!!

I am almost 3 yrs. into retirement from the fire service and our family is making a huge investment in our future. We are building a new @albeSweetShop after the bakery has rented its space for the past 61 yrs. So much for retirement!!!!

It is amazing how the Lord takes you through life if you let Him!! Who would have thought my fire service life would have stopped like it did and my bakery life would have taken off like it did!!!

1oo years ago today our local paper published an article about the new Albemarle Bakery building being built downtown. Today we announced that we will be building a new bakery building downtown at 310 S. Second St. So much for being retired......

Day #28 of the #30daysofbourbon is a freah crack 4 yr old Bottled in Bond from New Riff. This bottle was distilled in 2016 and bottled in 2020. I grabbed this bottle last Spring while in Florida. Cheers!!! #BHM2021 #bourbonheritagemonth @BourbonBanter
