C29 scholars joined the Geography and Environment department at the @UniOfYork to work with the Natural Environment Research Council. The theme of the day was ‘Adapting to the Challenges of a Changing Environment (ACCE)'. Scholarship and curiosity! 💪🏻

We stood silent today to mark Remembrance Day. Scholars performed a short drama, our cadets laid a wreath and Olivia read a poem. Woodfields was moved by our sense of collective gratitude to those that have made the ultimate sacrifice.
Congratulations to our girls team who were in the Utilita Girls cup today. They put in an outstanding performance and we are all exceptionally proud. Huge thanks to @ClubDFoundation for running the event and Cliffs in Doncaster for providing the club tops for us.
Thankyou to @MrDavidScales & @AAWoodfields for inviting their School Nurses to Y7 family dining. It was great to see the scholars take pride in their roles at mealtimes and to listen to some great conversations and gratitudes at the end of the session. #knowyourschoolnurse
