Yesterday APO Stacey left 722 (Chivenor) Sqn to take up his new role as OC of 1079 (Tiverton) Sqn. We wish him well in his new role and thank him for his time as a member of staff with us for the last 3.5 years
We're delighted to announce that after 19 months' stand-down due to both the COVID-19 Pandemic and also waiting for our new Squadron Headquarters to be finished, we are now able to announce we will be reopening on Thursday, 4th November
19th April 12 cadets from across Devon and Somerset camped out at Red Lake Tip on Dartmoor as part of their Duke of Edinburgh award. The cadets walked from Venford reservoir throughout the day with all there kit for 3/4 days and were greeted with amazing views.
On top of us helping to park cars at this year's Startrek event we also had 5 cadets and a member of staff training hard for the Ten Tors challenge. The weather allowed them to see the best and worst of Dartmoor... facebook.com/11039071570513…

How we have finished our holiday. A mountain bike ride around a couple of routes and selection of games in skills area at Halden Forest finished with a game of bike stuck in the mud. A great day out and brilliant weather.

Today 4 cadets joined 8 cadets from around North Devon to go flying at Raf St Mawgen, we had our safety briefing got kitted up and then the heavens opened, unfortunately this resulted in us not being able to fly.
