If you're a GM (and hopefully ownership), and you're trying to critically evaluate the canyon between the two clubs, especially as it relates to how they match up with each other specifically), there are simply bigger fish to fry.
When I think about the nature of the match ups between the Seahawks and the 49ers over the period they've gone 0-6 after going 6-2 during the Shanahan era, the last thing I think about is either team's Quarterback play.
