I like how the @UofGlasgow turrets can be seen from so many different vantage points in Glasgow. It's like finding True North.
#OnThisDay in 1870, professors pose on the Lion and Unicorn staircase at the Old College for the last photograph before UofG relocates to our current location at Gilmorehill. This staircase was moved brick by brick and stands to this day on the Western side of the Gilbert Scott.

Finally chanced upon the abandoned train station at the Botanic Gardens. Built in 1876 and closed down officially in 1939, it unfortunately received substantial damage in a fire in 1970.
It was so lovely to spend an early morning at the park. The highlight: A kindly gentleman walking his dog and picking up the leftover trash he saw on the way in a small bag he carried.
Spent a pleasant sunny day with @HistGlobal and interrogated the aesthetics and ethics of nature and culture housed within the @hunterian Collections of this magnitude have so many stories to tell.
