The adrenaline must be wearing off. We got all the carpet ripped out, half the walls cut out, insulation, baseboards, rooms are gutted. Now I just feel tired and overwhelmed and a bit sick. At least the pipe is fixed and water is working correctly.

We got the part replaced and now have running water again! Thank goodness. A household of 7 with no water is crazy, even for 2 days. Always thankful for indoor plumbing.

Well crap. Our basement is flooded. My son said he felt it damp for about a week but thought it was from his swim stuff. 2 rooms are soaked, warped, and covered in mold. They had furniture over it so we didn't notice. Possibly broken water line? 😫😭
