Another year, another date for the weirdest race! This 15th, 16th, 17th of June 2024, buckle up and write a whole novel as part of the #24hrnovel challenge! This is the fourth year running that writers from all across the world attempt to write a full novel in 24 hours!

I won the challenge I set out for myself with @24hr_novel I wrote for 24 hours' worth of pomodoros between Saturday & today (58, for those playing along) Total words written: 23.8K That's more than I get done in what I consider a hard drafting month (1/3)

I'm done with the 24 hours! I actually went over just slightly but it works 🤣 Words written throughout the challenge: 41,693 words Chapter parts done: 14 chapters Now that's one hell of a backlogs. Maybe I'll give ao3 extra release next month. #24hrnovel #writingchallenge
About 2 hours done! Gonna take a quick nap and continue the challenge in few hours. Words written so far: 2529 words. Not the best but it's something because that's one part of a chapter done! #24hrnovel #writingchallenge

hour i don't even know i stopped counting: finally !!! i've edited 50k words !!! woohoo !!! i need to go to SLEEP, goodnight y'all! hope #24hrnovel treated you well! running scenes done: 30/41 running words edited: 50339/50k
Day 3: Was able to finish Chapter 27 notes for my reverse outline and revision document (to keep track of the revisions I need to make to this book). Even though I didn't finish as much as I wanted to, some progress is better than no progress 🥰 #24hrnovel
And thus, the #24hrnovel challenge comes to an end for me. Still, for a collective 24 hours, I'd say that 18.7k isn't that bead! Definitely a good start to this 90-ish story I'm writing. Today was a total of 5,509 words added. All in all, a great challenge I WILL be trying again.
I decided to do my own version of the @24hr_novel challenge and write from Saturday at noon to noon today (bc day job) And I set a loose, DREAM goal of 10k words knowing I probably wouldn’t do it!! (I’m a year+ first drafter) Y’all I just did 10,550 words in 3 days. 😭✨
