A massive congratulations to our newest published authors! 10 pupils across KS3 have had their mini sagas published in the latest anthology, ‘Mission Chaos’.
A massive well done to the year 10 students who are part of the physics mentoring programme. Giving up their time after school on a Wednesday to collaborate with USW and Aberystwyth university students. That’s session 2 out of 6 complete!

Year 9 have had external providers “Reaching Wider” in school. The purpose of these sessions was for pupils in year 9 to discuss option choices which will benefit them as they will be looking at choosing their GCSE options after the Christmas break.

Mrs Richards has been teaching forces with Year 8. Here they’re investigating friction. Friction is a force between two surfaces that are sliding, or trying to slide across each other. The rougher the surface the more friction is produced. Da iawn!
