Amazing

Almost the entirety of this dinosaur—the skin, the armor that coats its skin, most of its body and feet, even its face—survived fossilization, amounting to what's been called a one-in-a-billion find: trib.al/0PSqTxy [📸: Royal Tyrrell Museum of Palaeontology]

The weird ways baleen whales eat. Right whales: the languidly shoving your face through copepod clouds technique. Humpack whale: Lunge feeding/the 'gulping-twice-your-body-weight-in-water' technique. Gray whale: Going "thpthpthpthpthpthp" but through the side of your mouth.

Some things were never supposed to be in the same ecosystem. It’s a pretty tough life for bandicoot and potoroo in the Gariwerd landscape to start with. Add these feral predators and we have a recipe for local extinction.

Wow gecko & Pygmy possums nesting together!

👀👀 Can you believe your eyes? The team at at Monjebup experienced a jaw-dropping moment last week when they peered into a nest box only to discover a Southwestern Spiny-tailed Gecko cosied up with a family of Western Pygmy Possums! 🤯🤯 📸 1: Kelsey Lambert 📸 2: Alex Hams
