Brighton manager Fabian Hürzeler on which club he would leave Brighton for one day: "I’m not going to make a secret of it - There's of course a club close to my heart because I played there for ten or eleven years – and that's FC Bayern. Those are simply my roots" [@BILD]

Konaté and Saliba debates, only for them to play together and be France’s best CB pairing. Amazing tonight against a great nation like Italy. 🫡

⚠️ | QUICK STAT Since the start of the 2003/04 UEFA Champions League campaign until tonight, no player had recorded a 100% passing accuracy while attempting more than 103 passes in a single #UCL match. Tonight, Min-jae Kim did this. 👇🤯 #FCBSLB

Davies wide, Coman half-space, Kane linking attacks. Perfect pattern of play that took Kompany some time to realize. Davies wide has the ability & force to drive into space which puts him in good crossing/cut-back areas with the winger then attacking the box to feed on layoffs.

Seems Kompany has switched this up since the Barcelona game & now defends in a more zonal manner with his CBs. Less knocking around, more defensive compactness which has improved our space defending. Deploying davies deeper off-ball in the back 3 is also top tactical switch

An issue with going with a man-to-man marking system with your CBs in a highline is they can get drawn to the ball + man too much (the ball will always be faster) & get caught up the pitch easily instead of blocking space on the back-foot. That compactness will always be missing.
