Today I introduced ~many~ exciting bills including LB 356, which removes the "comparable disqualification option" Nebraska has elected under SNAP. We can pass this policy at no cost to the state to make sure no one's food benefits are unfairly denied. #NELeg
I am continuing the charge for LGBTQ+ equality with bills to allow gender neutral licenses, ban conversion therapy, and prohibit discrimination in housing, employment, and public accommodations. Our state motto is "Equality Before the Law." I say that goes for every Nebraskan.
