Some thoughts from me and @claire_ainsley from the @ppi project we’ll launch this week on why the Dems lost and the lessons for Labour…theguardian.com/politics/2024/…

It was a really great conversation in Middlesbrough. Looking forward to hearing from the other regions.

Fantastic to be up and running with the face-to-face public deliberation element of the 10 Year Plan for Health engagement. Starting in Middlesborough last weekend, we'll be in every NHS region over the next few weeks. You can get involved at change.nhs.uk

Lots of people having fun today with @wesstreeting NHS consultation - but the public overwhelmingly want to see more frontline voices involved in policy making. ⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️

📊 #Data sharing is a controversial topic that is unevenly understood throughout the UK. To find out what the public's hopes and concerns are, we worked with @SmartDataRes and @Sciencewise to carry out a public dialogue on #SmartData research. More here: 👉sdruk.ukri.org/2024/10/01/tal…

Old Trafford today. Takes a superb one-handed catch in the stands - and doesn't spill a drop of beer. Makes you proud to be British.

The post-election poll shows how Starmer benefitted from the campaign 21% said their view of the now-PM "changed for the better" over the 6 wks. 14% said it got worse Contrast that with Sunak: 31% said their view of him got worse over the campaign, while just 6% it got better

Q: Why didn’t our election diarists engage with the @UKLabour manifesto? A: Perhaps because they were told there was “nothing new” in there. I wrote about why undecided voters found the election campaign frustrating: politicshome.com/thehouse/artic…

Interesting, gives a sense of party ceilings if you take vote share + strongly considered. Suggests polls showing Labour at 40%+ weren't wildly wrong and that the Reform ceiling is ~ 22% But also that the Cons were good at getting everyone who considered them to vote for them
