I applaud the U.K.’s decision to open its arms to Hong Kongers fleeing the tyrannical regime in Beijing. Hong Kongers shouldn’t be left to fend for themselves as the Communist Party destroys the city’s freedoms.

Prohibiting the vigil for the pro-democracy Tiananmen Square victims is another example of Beijing's suppression of Hong Kong's freedoms. Communism supported by terrorist tactics has always been the enemy of freedom, then at Tiananmen Square & now as seen w/ Antifa's violence.
This is a very welcome move. We sincerely hope that China will reconsider its approach. But if it does not, we will not just look the other way when it comes to the people of Hong Kong. We will stand by them and live up to our responsibilities.
