The greatest duo to wear Maroon and White together. Their careers will forever be intertwined, and rightfully so. You can point to stats, records and anything else you want to argue, but there's only one team to bring it home. And these two are the heart and soul of that team.
The job @19LoTan did this year is highly underrated. I can’t remember the last time he got an inning, much less a game, off. Many catchers would break down under that load. In the final 3 games, he was not only a rock behind the plate but also went 5-11 with a 2b and a huge HR.
You know what I keep thinking back to? How massive Lane Forsythe was in Omaha. The kid was elite in the field no matter the struggles at the plate. And you know he heard the talking. Then he calmly gets multiple hits in the biggest game in school history. An absolute unit.
