This week on Astroturf selective memory — @GrowSF director throws his ‘coalition’ under the buss🪡
TFW you're definitely writing an unbiased article that isn't a deranged hit-piece. Left: An actual email from a "journalist" for The New Republic Right: My response @lulumeservey is this going direct? 😂
Yesterday, I followed the lead of Trans organizers from @genderlib4all & its cofounder @Raquel__Willis to Capitol Hill to stage a sit-in outside @SpeakerJohnson’s office & the Women’s room to rebuke violent anti-trans legislation & rhetoric Non-Trans people must be in solidarity!
...provost Jenny Martinez sent out this statement: “We believe that the Daily reporter who was arrested inside the building acted in violation of the law and University policies and fully support having him be criminally prosecuted.” Literally teaching the press not to be free
Six months ago, some Stanford students barricaded themselves in the university president's office. A student reporter followed them in. He was arrested and faces felony allegations. The university wants him prosecuted. I looked into why. Via @CJR cjr.org/getting-the-st…
How GrowSF and the Astroturf Network influenced the 2024 D5 Race for Supervisor?🧶
From the new episode with Mama Ganuush, on how the election did and didn’t change their resolve and the realities for family in 🍉 and Egypt.
Ricci Wynne now in federal custody; the internet ponders which tech CEOs were in his little black book
Hey @garrytan your comrade Ricci Wyne was thrown in jail today for alleged sex trafficking & abuse of a minor. Thoughts?
Not good! Help! Why would Chesa do this to me?
This dude is a fucking creep.
Like just a basic thing but you should probably not trust a "journalist" who refuses to disclose the year in which they were born.
damn that's crazy i wonder why
Since August, the shelter acceptance rate has hovered around 25%. sfexaminer.com/news/housing/a…
In one of the Yimby Spaces They Openly Stated 👉🏾they depress Development in certain neighborhoods To get that Special PROGRAM Money “opportunity zones” or whatever they name it every 5 to 10 years These Yimby people Need to be Shuned 🧐
YIMBY is such a shell game. The moment rents marginally shift, the building stops, the rents go back up. It means steadily increasing rents, with over production of apartments while people become homeless. They think you're stupid.
Tough day for the power couple "Jay" and Kanishka. Together SF gets walloped in the election and then Lurie says no-thank-you to rapists and ethics violators in City Hall. Hope Daddy Oberndorf takes them out for ice cream or something nice in this rain. sfstandard.com/2024/11/22/dan…
EXCLUSIVE: Mayor-elect Daniel Lurie’s administration, is about to freeze out an influential operative leading one of the wealthiest political groups in San Francisco: Jay Cheng of Neighbors for a Better San Francisco. More: sfstandard.com/2024/11/22/dan…
“this should be 65 separate 5,000 pound cars” —the stupidest fucking venture capitalist in san francisco
For 20% of SF's public transit budget you could buy and run a fleet of 15,000 Waymos and let everyone ride for free. Thats enough to cover the entire ridership of SF's public bus system with much better service. Assumptions: -Conservative 12 year average life of the Waymo with…
Someone Drag the Yimby’s Like Max & Chris Because I been told Yall They Both Lying & Wasted a lot of Time & if anyone has a Twitter Space Yall better ping about it 🤓 So we can Get Into this Lie
Those stories of wage theft are often never reported, but it’s the largest type of theft in the US. They won’t go after the big ceo’s though.
New data shows SF only set aside enough beds for 38% of homeless people it swept in August - 199 beds for 523 people. Of those, only 17% were non-congregate beds, meaning 83% of beds offered were in crowded shelters. SF is failing its poor & working class!
