Nahuel, Carioca, Aquino and Gignac can stay as long as they want. Angulo, Purata, Joaking, Gorriaran and probably Tapia can stay for now. Everyone else needs a transferable tag this summer and be told you can either look for a job, accept whatever comes or play sub-20 next season

You're right, but this is no longer just an issue of players anymore. There's something inherently wrong with this team. Attitude, tactics, concentration, fitness. We suckes at everything.
The problem with tigres goes way beyond the quality of the squad..
4 is not a couple. We still made it to the final 4 of the tournament with the current squad, 4 outfield additions with quality could atleast get us to true contention

I think the midfield looked a lot better with Brunetta on the ball but we need players with pace, never thought I’d miss quinones as much as I do rn.
180 minutes and I can't think of a stretch where we actually tested Toluca. Toluca played at half throttle and still outmatched us. Our midfield was non-existent in this series.
We gotta be honest. Necaxa should have knocked us out. The last 2 years have been the worst Tigres I've seen since 2006/2007 era.
We'll see what the front office decides to do but if we're all in in Pizarro's formation then we need to go after two elite wingbacks, a holding midfielder, and a versatile striker
