Another day. Another World Record. Mollie O'Callaghan wipes swimming legend Pellegrini off the record table. Without super suit, MOC makes a difference in the underwaters and a phenomenal back-end 28.1.

3 different send-off groups, 13 athletes, 50 tempo's... 1 coach. Good thing there's @swimtraxx to get all splits and send-off times fully automated and in real time. Truly next level coaching! I could focus on giving technical feedback while all else was automated. #proud

Team🇺🇸 closes off an amazing WC with 2x🥇 in the M+W 4x100 Medley! The final medal table has every continent in the top-7, with 🇦🇺 topping it off. Team🇺🇸 isn't far behind, with a stunning 20x🥈 We summarized the distance to gold for each race 🇺🇸 lost 🥇 to another nation.

Yesterday's 100FR showed another impressive 🥇 for O'Callaghan🇦🇺: 52.16 The WR in the 👑 event was set by Sjöström🇸🇪 when leading off the 4x100FR in 2017: 51.71 4x WR-holder Sjöström will today step on the blocks for both the 50FR series(/semis) and 50FL final in Fukuoka.

Another 🥇 for 🇨🇳 today in Fukuoka in a 200BR WR! 24yo Haiyang Qin (覃海洋) claims his 4th 🥇 & does a 1st ever hat trick. Impressive pull-outs and a scorching 1:00.71 front-end put him 0.47 under the previous mark. A Tokyo DQ & WC 2022 disappointment did not stop him. 🔥

Day 5: @DolphinsAUS won another WR🥇 in the W 4x200FR (7:37.50). Even more remarkable is that the relay exclusively consists of St Peters Western swim club members. If they would've raced the M 800FR, Hafnaoui would've won & Short would've lost. Add them to the mix next time?

Chalmers 👑 with a faster back-end than the WR comes back to snatch the gold from Alexy. 47.15 The two outside lanes, Alexy and Grousset, come in for 🥈🥉

It took 5461 days until @leon_marchand broke the longest standing LCM WR. Next longest standing ind. LCM WR: Biedermann's 400FR. When the event takes place at @Paris2024, it will have stood 5480 days. Will it be broken then? Before? If you ask Sam Short, the answer is yes.

Looking at yesterday's Women's 400FR WR race in Fukuoka, one might think that Titmus' famous back-end speed was put more into the front-end. Comparing McIntosh's previous WR with yesterday's swim, it's clear that Titmus still makes the real difference in the 400FR's back-end.
