🤖 Our AIxCC cyber reasoning system, Atlantis🌊, will take on the TKCTF challenge alongside student hackers! Let’s see if LLMs can spot and patch bugs in a real-time CTF environment!
🚩 Ready for a challenge? Join us for TKCTF on Nov 22! Open to the public and $1,000 prize for 1st place. Register your team here: ctf.gts3.org 🔗 #CTF #Cybersecurity #TKCTF
21 years ago, I played in CSAW's first CTF and then ran it for several years. Now, seeing its impact is mind-blowing. Proud to have been part of its journey! x.com/gf_256/status/…
Tomorrow, I'll be giving my talk "Calling All Hackers" at CSAW'24. Here's why this is so important to me: Seven years ago, me and my co-founder @ret2jazzy met at CSAW'17 at NYU. With a few other students, we formed the team that eventually became @pb_ctf We were 17 years old.…
I’ve been a part of the @Shellphish story for 15 years now, and the team never fails to amaze! One of the most dynamic and impactful hacking collectives out, and I’m super amped for this next chapter and super proud of the team!
Our team at #AIxCC, CRS Atlantis 🌊, uncovered a zero-day vulnerability in SQLite3 during the competition! 🔥
The moment you find out your team just won $2 million and a chance at the finals!!! Congrats @TeamAtlanta24! #WeCanDoThat @defcon @DARPA @perribus #defcon32 #ai #cyber 1/2
Building up for LiveCTF coming up at #defcon by dropping a visual deep-dive on a challenge I wrote as part of the qualifiers. Building a CTF problem that's fun for competitors and also to show an audience? That was the real challenge: seeinglogic.com/posts/reflecti…
MORSE is growing. I'm building a team in the UK which will focus on Windows VR. Hiring lead and IC roles. Can be 100% remote in the UK or go into the office if you want. jobs.careers.microsoft.com/global/en/job/… jobs.careers.microsoft.com/global/en/job/… jobs.careers.microsoft.com/global/en/job/…
I love seeing real bugs that people would think are too stupid and unrealistic if they showed up in a CTF. This looks like it was a lot of fun to exploit
Very shortly after vulnerability details were published today we started observing Progress MOVEit Transfer CVE-2024-5806 POST /guestaccess.aspx exploit attempts. If you run MOVEit & have not patched yet - please do so now: community.progress.com/s/article/MOVE… NVD: nvd.nist.gov/vuln/detail/CV…
This is a kinda fun read (from Eugenio Benincasa at ETHZ) for people in the CTF scene: css.ethz.ch/content/dam/et… It's quite interesting to see someone look so deeply at CTF team lineages and memberships, and it's extra entertaining for those of us who "lived" it.
I've not only lost a cherished friend and training partner, but our community has lost an expert, a leader, an advocate, and one heck of a memelord. If there wasn't already hacking in heaven, there is now.

Miss you Sophia. We’re gonna do some amazing things for you and keep your dream alive. ❤️
Awful and tragic loss for the security community :( One thing I always appreciated was that she was so wide-ranging—binary analysis, hardware security, smart contracts—with great depth on each. And all while being incredibly kind and generous with her time.

Sophia was a friend and a very talented hacker. She will not be forgotten.
Sophia was an amazing woman and I feel lucky to have been her friend. She has been taken way too soon and will be greatly missed :(. RIP

Last week, I lost a dear friend and ctf teammate, Quend. Every spring we all gather to comile together the best challenges we can for the @midnightsunctf qualifiers. The current HFS crew were all back together again this month getting things ready to launch
Sophia D’Antoine @Calaquendi44 was one of the smartest, sweetest, and most genuine person I knew in the New York hacker scene. A friend, a neighbor, and a role model in public and private, she was inspiring me and many others to be kind and give our best. We will miss you.

Wow!! Thank you ALL for so much support on my first #Pwn2Own win!! I’m very lucky to have a team and leadership that believes in me. I’m really proud of this bug; this is one of hardest exploits I’ve ever written. I can’t wait to share the details with you once it’s patched!
Crackaddr remains undefeated – I haven't found a single model (out of GPT-4, Claude, and Mistral-medium) that figures out the correct input to trigger the bug, even using a multiple choice format. (Correct answer is B)
