Sick notes are a drag on a physician’s time and is medically unnecessary work. Sometimes patients come just to get the note, impeding access to care for others. It’s time to eliminate sick notes! @jossreimer
The CMA is calling for the elimination of sick notes for short-term minor illnesses, which could prevent as many as 12.5 million unnecessary health care interactions in a single year. Read more: bit.ly/4fie0zf
