Time to turn off AI suckage on LinkedIn.
LinkedIn is now using everyone's content to train their AI tool -- they just auto opted everyone in. I recommend opting out now (AND that orgs put an end to auto opt-in, it's not cool) Opt out steps: Settings and Privacy > Data Privacy > Data for Generative AI Improvement (OFF)

@fordnation @SylviaJonesMPP @anthonyrleardi The wastewater surveillance program must not end. It’s crucial information that permits hospitals, clinics, and at-risk/immunocompromised individuals to prepare for upswings in viral activity. It was the public health strategy 👇🏼
Deeply disappointed to learn that funding has been cancelled for the wastewater surveillance program in Ontario. This has been critical information not only for COVID-19, but other infectious disease threats (Influenza, RSV, MPox, Polio & now H5N1) in Ontario.
What a moment for women's hockey. Championship earned.
Showing up for his friends and himself. Christopher exemplifies what Challenger Baseball is all about! 👏 #NationalAccessibiltyWeek
We're becoming so much more resistant to Covid (with every passing wave of billions of new infections). This is because the pandemic is over. And seasonal. And mild. And barely worth a mention these days. Wait...(checks notes)...then WTF is this all about?
Canadian COVID Forecast Feb 17-Mar 2, 2024 ONTARIO VERY HIGH (decreasing) About 1 in every 52 people infected Compared to lowest point of pandemic in Canada: -Infections ~8X higher -Long COVID ~7X higher -Hospitalizations ~4X higher -Deaths ~12X higher
I'm not sure, based on things I learned with my parents, both of whom have/had dementia.
Should dementia patients be able to make advance requests for medical assistance in dying?cbc.ca/news/canada/ot…
Countries, stop torturing humanity! We are all temporary guests in this world, and we will all depart one day. No piece of this Earth belongs to anyone. We are all here to simply exist for a limited time, and that's it.
TELL YOUR FAMILY: If going for a Pfizer/Moderna vaccine in Canada, TRIPLE check that it's the new XBB monovalent version for 2023-24. NOT the bivalent version that's outdated and still floating around. #vaccine #XBB
Canada has made Covid-19 vaccines convoluted. In the US, FDA de-authorized OG + bivalent versions, we have yet to do so. We will be seeing many reports of incorrect vaccines being administered. There also aren't clear guidelines re: primary doses with XBB for those above age 5.
Might be a good time to move away from Zoom now:
Encountered some truly insidious gaslighting yesterday and woke up furious as the force of what happened hit me so just reminding myself and everyone else that avoiding Covid has nothing to do with “discomfort” or “anxiety.” It’s not about feelings. It’s a rational decision.
