Our 3 year old is working on swimming. yesterday she told me she wanted to use her sun hat to hold onto to help her float. Me: “oh no, honey, the hat doesn’t float. Do you want a noodle or a floatie?” Her: looks me dead in the eyes, sets the hat in the water& it floats (1/4)
