Curious as to why this reporter isn’t calling this an “alleged” stomping, given that there are no camera angles I’ve seen that show anything definitive (all I saw was Mullings physically reacting to something). Any video clearly showing this that I’m missing?

One thing I noticed on Fox overhead video, with about 10 seconds left on the game clock, one or two Michigan players pull down an MSU player to the ground in front of a ref. Player vanishes from sight. Not sure if it's the same player who emerged after Mullings stomping or not.

Sadly, I’ve gotta agree here. Anyone who thinks all of these cancelled subscriptions won’t eventually be used as an excuse to lay off more people probably hasn’t worked in a newsroom where one’s continued employment depends on how many subscription “conversions” you get.

I understand the anger at Jeff Bezos and the Washington Post for its endorsement decision, but cancelling your subscription means less revenue to pay all the Post's reporters. Do what you gotta do but Bezos won't feel it in his pocket while some great journalists might.

Wrote about Jack White's very good new album ahead of his show at @StAndrewsHall this evening. It's his best since the White Stripes. AND subscribe to my new newsletter if you'd like. I'll just be messing around writing about music and culture. open.substack.com/pub/radioamor/…

Concordia University Ann Arbor has been dealing with uncertainty about its financial future since February. Its regents will meet on Thursday to discuss next steps. Many fear closure or downsizing is on the table, while a chance still exists it could become independent.

Was out when the M-Den legal news broke last week, so took time to dive into the litany of lawsuits. Despite an eviction order 11 days ago, clerks are still welcoming customers in the Briarwood Mall location. Millions of unpaid $ on the table, allegedly. mlive.com/news/ann-arbor…
