This whole thread is really concerning. Hospitals are supposed to be the place where we go to get better… but they’re literally killing patients because they can’t be bothered to do proper infection control. What will it take for the powers that be to step up and fix this??!
The chance of catching something in hospital seems off the scale. At a time of so much pressure on an already-pressured system, we should be trying much harder to reduce risk of nosocomial infections. 🧵

I'm a Radiographer; we work closely with A&E. When Covid mitigations ended, A&E numbers increased by 1/3rd and never recovered. Gov. needs to do more to limit the spread of airborne viruses. Other major issues are lack of social care, obesity, poverty and chronic lung disease.
Hold @wesstreeting, the @NHSuk and @UKHSA to account for not vaccinating everyone, for the lack of masking in healthcare, for lack of proper public health information, for lack of Paxlovid. They are all failing us and you aren’t doing your job properly either. 🙏
