Tuesday morning the Mayor and City Council proclaimed June as National Cancer Survivor Month in El Paso, Texas. In June we honor the more than 18 million cancer survivors in the United States. We unite to recognize cancer survivors.

2nd and 3rd graders at Constance Hulbert Elementary School spent time today learning how to protect themselves from the sun to prevent skin cancer. Through our Beezley BEE Sun Smart program students learned that sunglasses, hats & long sleeve clothing protects us from the sun.

Loretto Academy's Women Empowering Women Club & the Art Honor Club got together to create and paint wig heads for our patrons who come to our office for a wig. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to add some color in our patrons' lives.

One Shot Performance gym hosted its first Our Rep Cancer fundraiser on Saturday, March 4th, 2023, benefiting the Rio Grande Cancer Foundation. A total of $1135.63 was raised to support our cancer community. Thank you Robert Gomez.
