The peace of our souls does not have to rise and fall with unpredictable people or situations. Our feelings will shift. People do affect us. But the peace of our souls can be tethered to all that God is. We can let His Word wrap around our souls with steady assurance.
Lord, thank You for the gift of today. I want to see You. I want to hear You. I want to know You. And I say yes to You before I even know what Your invitations might be for me during these next 24 hours. I want to live in great expectation of experiencing You.
Being saturated in God’s Word today prepares us to walk securely in His faithfulness tomorrow.
Right now is a good time to stop scrolling thinking about how much better her life is than yours, friend. Her life is a package deal of good and bad - so pray for her and thank God for a part of your life that is simple and good.

God isn’t after our achievements. He’s simply after our hearts. I pray we hear His whisper today, “This isn’t a race to test the fastest pace. I want you to persevere on the path I’ve marked out for you. Fix your eyes not on a worldly prize, but on staying in love with Me.”
I know how hard it can be to wait on God when you want to move forward and you’re seeking His guidance. But don't lose confidence in His goodness. Be strong. Be patient. Cling to His Word. And keep trusting in His unfailing love.
No matter how impossible that miracle you are praying for seems, please trust that only God knows the full story. He is working. He is hearing and shifting and intervening and convicting and stirring and doing what only He can do.
Let’s hold onto this truth today: God has been faithful before, and He will be faithful again.
