PHPBench 1.0.0 has been tagged (this time with intention!) dantleech.com/blog/2021/05/0…

As Twitter is due to stop offering Tweetdeck as a free service and they cut API access I have decided not to support Twitter as a communication channel any more. You can now follow PHPBench on Mastodon here: phpc.social/@phpbench

Would if it would be useful to add the ability to genertate charts (.png via. GD) for markdown/html reports?

Release 1.2.8: - Fixes the PHAR auto-release and signing (which required a new GPG key unfortunately) - Support for Doctirne Annotations v2 (thanks @greg0ire ) -Support for compressed XDebug profiles. github.com/phpbench/phpbe…

We took this as inspiration to add automated comparison into our CI. We are adding a comment to the PR to see the most recent diff. See here for the comment if interested: github.com/patchlevel/eve…

PHPBench 1.1 has been released, I wrote a blog post about it: dantleech.com/blog/2021/08/1…

1.1 is just about ready: If you have extended PHPBench I would encourage you to test `1.1.*@dev`

Added example benchmarks (including report config) to the documentation: phpbench.readthedocs.io/en/latest/exam… New report stuff is in the upcoming 1.1 release

Introduced a generated JSON schema for the configuration which should make IDEs happy.

This Wed, 28th July, at 19:30 (UK) we are joined by @dantleech with a talk about PHPBench 1. Join us to understand how it can help you track and control the performance of your application. RSVP yes on Meetup for link. We also gratefully welcome new local sponsor @HumandTalent!

The console graph output in the upcoming 1.1 is actually useful
