You can’t use a contactless card to travel from eg Guildford for a day in London but you can use a day Travelcard. Same as most places outside the zones (even Liverpool, Sheffield etc) It’s much cheaper than a return fare + contactless.
I imagine they’ll publish it on the TFL website. There are loads of consultation results there, bulk of which they have ignored the responses and gone ahead with their plans anyway. Particularly their bone headed changes to long standing bus routes in place for generations.
Is there an assessment of the responses to the consultation and how many objected to the withdrawal?
