Interesting 👇🏼 “For decades, Nvidia employees have been sending notes known as T5Ts, or Top-5 Things—things they’re working on, things they’re thinking about, things they’re noticing in their corners of the business.” “Every morning, the man who built one of the world’s most…
Here's an updated version of the data visualization; thanks for the signal boost, @pmarca! Also included is a standalone and blown-up version of the European cluster. 🧵
Nvidia $NVDA and Schneider Electric have unveiled an AI data center infrastructure and cooling design, capable of supporting high-density GPU clusters up to 132 kW per rack. The customizable designs will be used for GB200 NVL72 servers.
A new philosophy paper from Nick Bostrom claims that human civilization is likely encompassed by a "cosmic host" - an entity or set of entities composed of superintelligent AIs, galaxy-scale civilizations, simulators and divine beings

FC 25 is the worst FIFA game ever and probably the buggiest game in history. Opportunity for game developers to step up and deliver a game that is actually playable.
love the brilliant @levelsio but never understood the "100% organic, ads dont work for me" POV my take is that the best companies don't start with ads, they earn the right to use them. i'll explain: 1. organic proves people want it 2. organic shows what content works 3. ads…
I find myself sending this article from @eladgil out ~3x per week. It's so good. Worth a re-read if you havent read it in a while. I agree with ~90%+ of it and have yet to see another article articulate such a big/complex topic as well. blog.eladgil.com/p/defensibilit…

Today we're sharing some exciting updates to the Replit Agent
Apple went from “Think Different” to “Why bother thinking?”
Hope VP Vance is able to deliver on this radical change in US foreign policy: “We have built a foreign policy of hectoring, moralizing, and lecturing countries that don’t want anything to do with it. The Chinese have a foreign policy of building roads and…
Marc Andreessen and Ben Horowitz say that AI models are hitting a ceiling of capabilities: "we've really slowed down in terms of the amount of improvement... we're increasing GPUs, but we're not getting the intelligence improvements, at all"
One the saddest realizations for me when we were scaling the @midjourney server at @discord in ‘22 was seeing millions of US gen z kids struggle to prompt They literally don’t have the words. Broken english. Pidgin lingo. Translating thought to language is insanely hard for…
I keep hearing from executives that they expect that a new generation of "AI natives" will show them how to use AI. I think this is a mistake: 1) Our research shows younger people do not really get AI or how to integrate into work 2) Experienced managers are often good prompters
Pearls from @profgalloway . I might add that the fact that Tesla has no marketing budget is a classic case of Silicon Valley nerd ideology triumphing over business sense.
Just saw the first actual example of this in production in a 1,000+ people company, and it's amazing They built an AI agent that: 1/ makes phone calls to everyone in the co every week, asking for a status update 2/ sends a report back with a summary of all the updates 3/ has…
I see almost 0 explorations on one of the AI use cases I'm most excited about: using AI to help humans coordinate. The coordination costs of human groups notoriously scales quadratically: the number of potential pair-wise interactions is roughly the square of number of people…
Replit agent can build simple web apps quite well but the keyword here is “simple”. UI is quite bad though but v0 solves this problem.
“One founder said it took 18 months to build his startup, he tried replit and it took 10 minutes.” Does anyone really buy into this bullshit? It’s borderline propaganda. Can YC be serious and report what’s going on in tech without exaggerating by 10x.
