Just cancel Arsenal season already.. It’s likely only going to get worse from here on out. That Newcastle game in particular is looking spooky. Injuries have killed them, unfortunately, but that’s fine. The season has still been a 10/10.

People watched Arsenal sustain injuries, lose a UCL place at the end of the season, and called them bottlers and failures. One season later Arsenal are in a title challenge, sustain injuries, drop points, and the same people are calling them failures.
For what it’s worth, I absolutely believe Arteta will lead Arsenal to great great heights. Big trophies to come. He is not immune to criticism however. Still an inexperienced manager.
Disagree. The general discourse after Arsenal’s last season was that they blew their top 4 chance. Spurs, Chelsea, etc. would only strengthen and they’d be left behind. Look now. Arteta’s Arsenal will be challenging across all fronts for many years to come.
Some, in fact a lot of people have forgotten how we got here. Fact is we still have a long way to go and have the tools to win big things for a long time. Just have to retool, get the correct pieces in and learn lessons from this season.
Arsenal fans really rub me the wrong way. Obviously can show disappointment for losing out on the title, but plenty of positives over a remarkable season. Gave a legendary City team a major challenge. Project still very early.

I love this club man. Great effort by the lads for the season, shame how it turned out. Be ruthless in the summer. We overachieved this season and we'll be even better next. Proud of most of the players, hope to never see some play for the club. We go again next season.
Well in other news, Nottingham Forest beating Brighton will officially confirm a return to the Champions League next season for Arsenal. Every cloud eh.

It's just not the level of champions. Get Saka and Saliba's deals done and confirmed, get rid of Rob Holding and get in the final pieces. This isn't the end, it's the beginning.
Please, please do not direct any sort of abuse or disenchantment towards Mikel Arteta or his players. Pep Guardiola simply produced a tactical masterclass in that half. The evidence did not suggest they would play with a 4-2-4. He hasn't played that way ONCE in 2023. Not once.
