Jack Cade’s is a great story. I hope you enjoy it!

In today’s Gone Medieval podcast @MattLewisAuthor tells the thrilling story of Jack Cade. How did he go from being an ordinary man to the leader of a 47,000 strong popular uprising, the spark that ignited the Wars of the Roses? eu1.hubs.ly/H04xk790

24 May 1487 Coronation in Dublin of King Edward. That's all we know for sure. History remembers him as Lambert Simnel, claiming to be the Earl of Warwick. I think he was Edward V, the (not murdered) elder of the Princes in the Tower. mattlewisauthor.wordpress.com/2018/07/24/lam…

If you find it offensive, you’re part of the reason it’s necessary. I’m proud of @Wolves

Is tonight’s support by Wolves for LGBT really necessary? For some people it’s important and for others it’s offensive, either way it’s controversial Personally I’m fed up with it and I’d prefer @Wolves to simply steer clear of the subject .

16 June 1487 Battle of Stoke Field sees Henry VII defeat an invading Yorkist army. John de la Pole, Earl of Lincoln & Martin Schwartz, mercenary commander were killed. I don’t think the Lambert Simnel Affair was quite what history has led us to believe. mattlewisauthor.wordpress.com/2018/07/24/lam…

It’s #WorldCancerDay. My son had a brain tumour & seven spinal tumours when he was 7. After surgery, radiotherapy & chemo he got the all clear, but we know we are lucky & blessed. Research, the skill & dedication of those conducting it & delivering care in the NHS saved my son.
