Not just the leagues - go deeper to the networks as the conduit. Forget advertising // just look at the sports tickers. Fantasy sports was the gateway 💉
This is a good idea to limit the societal negative externalities, but some leagues (cough cough NBA) sold their soul w/ the quickness and have integrated sports betting as part of their core programming to an alarming degree. I wonder if the new TV deals address this in any way.
