*In the Last few months African Swine Fever has attacked Africa's biggest Pig farm settlement and some farmers in its Environ, though not harmful to humans it has caused devastating loss to farmers in Oke Aro, while we seek support and aid from the government and corporate bodies

Few things I learned these past weeks documenting #TheAfricanFarmerStories 1. Nigerian youth are not lazy 2. For every hustle there is a reward ( Financial ) 3. Build relationships ( Good ones ) 4. Words spread fast ( Good or bad ) 5. Ask questions 6. Give feed back 7. Pray

Thus, the focus is not on the tragedy, but on the hope for new investments from the private sector, #FDI from diaspora and other Investors. Oke-Aro needs investors as hope for this will save more lives. #TheAfricanFarmersStories

Infact, the tweet by @Nig_Farmer was passionately engaged on Sunday with a solidarity and professional gesture because 3 of my close friends (2 resigned and 1 still employed) lost huge incomes to that incident and another friend of theirs lost his life as a result of the shock

Yes we are all prone to mistakes & risk, however the pig owners identified the existing gaps&are glad to have investors to help fill these gaps: - Waste Management - Power Generation - Abattoir for Slaughtering - Processing of carcass #TheAfricanFarmersStories @S4AfricaSMEs
