Stone going to IR is just to open an additional roster spot. It will be retroactive to Nov. 7, and a player only has to miss 7 days on IR, so he can still return at any point that he’s healthy enough to play.

The Golden Knights announce Ben Hutton is out week-to-week with an upper-body injury and has been placed on LTIR. Mark Stone remains day-to-day with a lower-body injury and has been placed on IR.

VGK announced they have placed Mark Stone on IR and Ben Hutton on LTIR. This essentially rules Stone out for tomorrow night's game but he is eligible to be removed from IR at any point. Hutton going on LTIR rules him out until at least December 12th.
