We do have a couple of issues with the bill, however. This bill doesn't address people already incarcerated for using cannabis as medicine. We support the legalization of cannabis for recreational use, not just medical. We still have a long way to go before this fight is over!

Alright, here's the #Mississippi medical marijuana amendments: Lowers monthly amount to 3oz, can purchase 3.5 grams a day, six days a week, 24 times a month. Again, expected to pass the House, then would go back to Senate w/ amendments.

Mississippi Senate has already approved a medical marijuana bill. If House version that's on the floor right now passes, Senate will have to concur or seek further discussion before bill goes to the governor.
