The UK is a middle-income country with a rich enclave around London.

Wow, not seen this before. The UK (excluding London) is shockingly poor. Big problems with a mono-polar economy, even across a multinational union. h/t @john_tomaney on LinkedIn

@FFmpeg I am MPP developer from @IloveRockchip I apologize for using FFmpeg code due to lack of understanding on conflict between Apache and LGPL. We will replace these code in future update. And do more homework on open source license.

Chilling footage from Gaza. Reporters spot a group of Palestinian men, hands up, holding up a white flag. They explain they're trying to rescue family stuck in Khan Younis. No sooner do they set off across no-man's land, than one of the men gets shot dead by an Israeli sniper.

Moment innocent civilian brandishing white flag in Gaza 'safe zone' is shot dead in the street, as @johnirvineitv reports itv.com/news/2024-01-2…

Alta and Solitude are ready to ship! These are the first SBCs designed to work with upstream distros out of the box. There are still some quirks with upstream Debian because of SecureBoot stuff, but we should have those flushed out with a firmware update.

One thing I saw in comments about the removal of xorg server is that some might not see how much work is/was to maintain xorg server. I understand is hard to see from outside, but maintaining xorg server with the standards we have in RHEL is not a small beast. Let me share some:

If you were ever frustrated by contrast issues in @freecadnews, you need to try the new OpenDark preference pack from Obelisk. Not just another dark theme but a brilliant improvement to color contrast everywhere. Fantastic contribution. Available in addon manager.
