Great to be with other First Nations Midwives participating at this inaugural National Midwifery Symposium on Gadigal Country. Watch this #midwifery space, building excellence in maternity care @CarolineHomer @mel_russ72 @NurseMidwifeECU @Ahpra @CATSINaM
At the International Developmental Paediatric Association Congress - being inspired about the work across low and middle income countries around neurodevelopment and child development. @NatalieStrobel thank you ECU for supporting my attendance!
I agree - not sure why victim blaming is very common! @LukeLPearson
Speaking out against racism has been far more damaging to the careers of victims than it has been for perpetrators in so many instances for so many years… it’s hard to state just how significant this is.
Thank you, friends, for sending your love & care in this sad time. Thank you to the many thousands of volunteers for taking action. You were part of an unprecedented movement that will continue on toward justice for First Nations people. The below statement went out last night.
Until Australia as a country & nation embraces Blackfullas we won’t have a real national identity. Until then it’s little Britain here.
We didn’t ask for much, my heart and spirit is truely broken today. Like we always do we will go on. Shame on Australia, all my profiles pictures are black like many of my mob as a sign of mourning! Please don’t say ‘sorry’ this loss is to deep! #yes23
Wake up Australia, it's time to change history. Now is the day to come together and say Yes to progress. #VoteYes #HistoryIsCalling #VoiceToParliament
Excited to join @acn_tweet @blacknursinghx @mel_russ72 @kylieward in discussions on the #Voice & its meaning for going forward for Australian Nursing. We are history makers tonight in Brisbane. @BronFredericks @strictlykaren @SugaMara_der @mdavisqlder

I pay my respects to this trailblazer and Torres Strait Islander legend - we must remember what he did it’s a truely inspirational story and legacy! #MaboDay
Wow I met my heroes @thomasmayo23 & @KerryOBrien thanks for sharing your expertise on the referendum on the Voice & Recognition in the Constitution @EdithCowanUni & Rabble Books and games event. Great book to unpack the debate. #Yes23
I will vote ‘yes’ on the Voice Referendum & I won’t change my mind. I am open to respectful debate & listening to the ‘no’ vote, however like the COVID vaccine (I’ve had 5 doses) - I will always be a ‘yes’ for the health & wellbeing of the First Australians. #VoteYes
Two of my favourite hero’s - can’t believe it’s 30 years!
At Ngangk Yira (@MurdochUni) saying farewell to Jade Maddox an absolute legend in the team - she’s very excited to retire and learn more about Indigenous culture in Thailand. We will miss her.
