I grew up in a house of women. My mum and her two best friends. Albeit their sexuality isn’t the same as Sam and Kirstie, Women stepped up to raise me when a man didn’t. Not only were they more than capable, I grew up loved and cared for. Parenthood is love, not sexuality/gender.

5. In summary: Children in Need is doing our government’s job for them, in a temporary way, for select people only, at the expense of the privacy and dignity of those people, and we’re controlling the purse strings. Disabled children deserve so much more.
Last night my phone died just as I was about to use it to pay my bus fare home. I'd been out for after work drinks, didn't have my wallet or battery pack on me as I usually do. My bad. I showed the driver my 'plug in phone' screen; he shook his head and told me to leave the bus.
