All this discourse about the MCAS… yall are very confused about what that test is really for and what it actually does (or doesnt do) for students. Yes take that shit away as a requirement. That test was always about funding and never about bettering student’s education
Massachusetts Ballot Question 2 has passed, repealing the requirement that students must achieve a certain competency level on the Massachusetts Comprehensive Assessment System (MCAS) exam to graduate high school.
None of this “mcas” shit mattered at all in college, give the teachers a chance to teach a better curriculum to prepare the kids, it’s such a simple concept
