7. The arrests were made during the final days of the Election Certification of the US Presidential Election. It is obvious that the CCP is hoping this crackdown would go unnoticed amidst such arduous times, it is an attempt to avoid the international gaze and spotlight.
6. There is no doubt that today’s crackdown is equivalent to the Formosa Incident. 2021 is the start of a decade, and this decade would only bring further crackdown from the CCP. Free World should support us and stop the CCP from encroaching our rights and liberal values.

1. The current political crackdown is not only limited to the winners of the 2020 Pro-Democracy Primary Elections, nor is it limited to the Resistance Camp formed after the Primaries. This is a large-scale liquidation involving 52 democrats across different political spectrums.
Early morning arrests being carried out in Hong Kong. At least three former LegCo members from the Democratic Party, including Lam Cheuk-ting have been arrested by national security forces. As always, expect this number to grow.
