We don't repair Jet Ski / PWC's - but teaching our team how to prepare them for winter and then summerize them in the spring was a great way for us to add additional on site services for our customers. A couple on the water in Knoxville today.
Whenever we look to add an additional location we have a list of criteria that each new location must fit. Once we narrow it down, we call the local competition to see what the market is like. This was the first 10 results on google. 60% went to VM!
Busy Busy...not bad for a Friday. Our team has been killing it. Always good to head into winterization season on a strong note. 🛥 🛥 🛥
Almost 1000 new customers added between April 12 and September 12th.
Congrats Matt!!!
It's 7:35 AM in Times Square, and I am crying seeing our ad on a billboard. This is by far one of the biggest moments in my life and for Goodo Studios. Thank you to @shesbirdie for trusting us with this project. Thanks to @brexHQ for sponsoring this billboard. Shoutout to my…
Charlotte location hit 100 5 star reviews this morning 🍾
Classic “just needs a quick tune up” customer
Yeah this continues to bite me in the ass. Since this tweet one engine replacement and one head needed a rebuild. Learn from my mistakes, don't do it
PSA if you are buying service trucks for your business just buy new or lightly used. I was a cheap idiot and bought all 5-10 year old trucks and vans and have spent so much repairing them it would have made more sense to just buy new (plus new looks better).
We currently have 324 new leads that we simply do not have the capacity to service. Besides hiring more support staff and technicians and going into next year with a deeper bench - what do we do with these leads in the meantime?
In trades businesses you have two options: 1. Wrapped vans, big marketing budgets, work for rich people or financially illiterate who are desperate and offer financing - be 40%+ above market rates and hire salesman as techs Or 2. Used equipment, no wraps, no debt, average…
From our Knoxville branch. Out with the old and in with the new. 🔧
Lots of these this year - well maintained $10-12k motors that weren't winterized and are now a total loss + need to be replaced.
Checked the mail this AM and found this. A talented team who always puts the customer first is a recipe for success! 🛥
Had a great conversation with @ShipshapePod about our story and the future of the marine industry. podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/mat…
Thanks Ken!
I suspect there’s a massive opportunity to use Matt’s formula to disrupt other everyday service businesses. Read my full conversation with Matt for all the insights: everydayempires.com/p/matt-foster-…
