Watched a High School aged girl officiate a youth game today. She had to eject an adult fan that was yelling...and she handled it really well. Then I found out she quit and didn't come back for the next game. Adults...What are we doing???

if we are friends and i don’t reach out to you as much anymore, it’s seriously not personal. i just really need to take some time to make sure i’m taking care of myself. i’ve gotten into a bad habit of not making my needs a priority.
My fear is that society is developing a mindset where the reflex is to cancel/quit/postpone and default to holing up in the comfort of home to do things virtually versus actually showing up for the beauty of life. I understand COVID restrictions but isolation is a killer.
