Cons sell the idea of less government being a good thing but what they really mean is less services, less healthcare, poorer public education, less regulation protecting our food and water.
Ontario Place. The Greenbelt. CBC. Ontario Science Centre. Highway407. Universal Healthcare & Public Education. Conservatives sell off our assets, starve institutions, attack unions & privatize services that should be public. This anti-public sector agenda makes us all poorer.
This is so nice but also this is why we all pay taxes, so that pool of money can be used to upkeep public infrastructure and ensure that the public spaces people love can be kept open. @fordnation is failing all Ontarians by refusing to invest our money in our Science Centre.
If the public raises $6M, can we keep the science center open? @oliviachow @fordnation I’ll personally commit $10k if you commit on your side and we raise enough.
Our kids don’t have AC or shady outdoor spaces at school, or enough supplies, or smaller class sizes. Our nurses have had their wages artificially restricted for 4+ years. Ontario has money for a spa parking garage but no money for the people? @fordnation math. We deserve better.
