Sam Mewis is the only one approaching this situation with the people that were hurt by Korbin Albert’s action in mind. It breaks my heart that her career was cut short because she’s the captain this team needs right now. Her voice in the locker room would mean everything #uswnt
Lynn William, who is an alternate, is the only player on that entire roster who has EXPLICITLY, called out what Korbin Albert did. I need it to be more players, but for this alone I’m glad Lynn will be on the plane. That kind of integrity and leadership is necessary.
