My heart is breaking for the two nurses who died today. Anyone who is still going out and treating this whole lockdown like one big bank holiday weekend is, in my opinion, culpable for their deaths. That’s how serious it is. Stay in your houses, it’s really not that hard.
For a while now, the message of ‘it’s ok to not be ok’ has been talked of with emphasis on the negative psych impact of emergency responder work. But also equally important to acknowledge is ‘it’s ok to be ok’ after a difficult incident & to feel affirmed by it #ParaHealth
