Wow!

Japanese baseball player Chusei Mannami went viral a couple weeks ago for this ABSURD throw. I ended up going down a rabbit hole and folks... this guy might have the most electric arm in baseball history. 🧵 Thread

Sensational line from Sky News on Boris Johnson being turned away today for not bringing acceptable photo ID: “Polling station staff were forced to turn the former prime minister after he initially failed to comply with legislation he introduced while he was in Downing Street.”

This is a wonderful interview and well worth seeking out on BBC Sounds (the Today programme on February 23 @ 2 hours 25 minutes in.)

"If you gave me a computer, you would find me seven days later, dead, under a pile of pizza boxes." Poet John Cooper Clarke says 'he's a very modern person at all', telling #R4Today he's 'right out of the loop digitally'.

Thanks so much for having me along last night Kim. Great to see you and loving the book!

If they say we did Barbie like marketing, we might as well have a box?? 😁 Thanks for having us London! 🇬🇧💥

Hi @arnettwill Saddened to hear of your friend's passing. Sending condolences. I just finished a book called Mayflies by Andrew O'Hagan which is about music, lifelong friendships and mortality. It's also very funny. I think you'd enjoy it & would relate.

One of the highlights of my time in Los Angeles was watching Paul Anka perform My Way to the then outgoing Canadian Prime Minister Jean Chretien. I was impressed with his longevity then and that was 20 years ago. Loved hearing Anka tell his life story on the latest @SmartLess
