I get how important money is for college athletes and it is hard to begrudge them the opportunities that affords, but I hope they don't underestimate the value of legacy and relationships. These things have meant so much to me over the years and have grown in value over time.
I sincerely wonder how those who are cheering this war on will feel, When someday the war ends, And not a single inch of battlefield will have been gained, and a million men will have died, for our $ 1/4 Trillion? Will they be able to cope with what they did?
My kids are not going to go fight for Ukraine. They also are not going to go fight in the Middle East. Thatโs it. Unless someone attacks the USA, this war mongering government can piss off.

The cause of inflation is quite simple. Too many dollars chasing too few goods. Too many dollars (US pumped 7 trillion into the economy) chasing too few foods (we shut down non essential business, limiting production of goods).
My problem was never with covid. I know it's real. I know it can cause harm. The problem is we treated it as if it was the only problem. And in doing that we made existing problems worse & created new ones.
