The Trillium broke this story yesterday, but no other news company seems to have carried it or asked about it 234,000 homeless now, up from 21,000 when Ford was elected Seems like a BIG story to me thetrillium.ca/news/housing/o…

I am begging and pleading people to understand that food banks are by definition a policy failure. Governments should be embarrassed to be funding food banks, not bragging about a measly 2 million over 2 years for an entire province.

Over the next 2 years our government will be providing $2 million to Food Banks of Saskatchewan. We understand the challenges that people are facing due to inflation and the cost of groceries. This funding is an additional affordability measure to further support Saskatchewan…

This should infuriate you.

The Financial Accountability Office of Ontario (FAO) is out with a scathing report. Ford government’s public health-care hospital capacity will shrink by 2027-2028 due to surging demand and that Ford gov with Sylvia Jones is allocating over $21 billion less to the public sector.

Ontario will need more than 33,200 new nurses and 58,530 PSWs by 2032. And for more than a year the @FordNation government did everything it could to prevent this truth from being revealed. The truth that nurses have been talking about for years. #onpoli nursestalktruth.ca

And an FYI to my fellow Canadians: when things like this happen in the US, it spreads misinformation in Canada. Please know that there is *no* statute of limitations on sexual assault in Canada. You can report a sexual assault anytime, no time limit.

FYI: If you're wondering why a bunch of rape allegations have been made against celebrities in the last few days, New York's Adult Survivors Act — a law that that temporarily lifted the statute of limitations for filing a sexual assault complaint — expires today.

Pierre Poilievre has never actually held a job. And yet he has the audacity to say that residential school survivors need to learn the value of hard work. They were forced to work harder than he and his grifter friends could ever imagine.

Weeks ago, Jamaican farmers were DEPORTED after protesting an unsafe workplace. This gov's 'Working for Workers Act' ensures they had a passport to leave the country. What they REALLY needed were better conditions & REAL protection in demanding their human right was MET. #ONPoli

Today, the @fordnation government voted down protections for PSWs, DSWs in retirement homes and group homes. These workers care for the people we care about most. We depend on them. They deserve to have the protection of WSIB. @fordnation, we won’t stop until we get it done.

"We don’t so much have a healthcare crisis as a Doug Ford crisis." @fordnation's sat in the driver's seat for 5 YEARS, steering Ontario healthcare into crisis. One that is FAR from inevitable, but by CHOICE. To make the rich richer & sick sicker. #ONPoli thestar.com/opinion/contri…
