I understand why it's no longer like this, but I kinda miss when tails was a lil guy and seen as sonic's baby-ish(?) Little Brother.
I believe Tails' downward spiral throughout the 2010s was because of his cripplingly addiction to his tablet. /J

I have a funny headcanon for this. Tails treats the Airport like Chuck E Cheeses, seeing it as the most fun place on Earth. And with one of the flight attendants constantly telling him "For the last God damn time kid, you're not allowed to fly the planes, now take your seat!"
Tails gon' be a young Tony Stark when I'm done, he knows he isn't as physically capable as Sonic or Knuckles so he compensates with his gadgets and quick thinking on the fly. All I'ma say is don't give this version of Tails prep time, that's a mini Batman right there.
One episode in and one thing I love about the DIC Sonic cartoons is Sonic and Tails' kid brotherly relationship. It's adorable. This was before Sega firmly established Tails being a kid genius as his main personality trait, but I wish we saw more him acting like an actual kid.
