A COMPETITION QUESTION. Reward is my release from Quarantine Hotel! Q. If I arrived in Birmingham on the 25th July from Dubai, UAE a red list country. When is my quarantine completed? #ukgov #ukgovernment
Update. Spent first day in hotel quarantine. Made 29 phone calls today. Drafted a letter with 7 pieces of evidence to verify my mum is dying and I am vaccinated and PCR negative. I need day 2 PCR but will get 7 hr release. 2 hr to see my mum and 5 to drive there n back Thursday.
The start of the ticking clock journey starts! Flying to Birmingham to then start the 10 days hotel Quarantine. Then visit my mum hoping she can hang on. Going to be sending daily emails to see if I can break the quarantine with full vaccine certificate and new PCR. #ukgov
My mum is now on End of Life care. Any experience flying from a red list country and applying for the exemption to quarantine I'd appreciate your experience. Gov website not clear do I just email? Will I have to apply 14 days before travel? When Dr said my mum has days? #ukgov
