I don’t really do endorsements. I’m not shy about sharing my views, but I hate politics and don’t trust most politicians. I also understand that people want to hear from me because I am not just a celebrity, I am a former Republican Governor. My time as Governor taught me to…

Donald Trump has 4 indictments, 91 felonies, 34 of which he has been convicted of. He violated women, shared our secrets, tried to overthrow the government getting people killed cheated on his taxes and all his wives. What is there to decide?

We’re trapped in this country by endless Whataboutery. It’s not only a sport, it’s a curse. Excellent article in today’s Irish News.

About time!

The Wealth Tax is being mooted again. If you woke up tomorrow and there was a 2% Wealth Tax on people with over £10m which raised £30bn a year. What would you say?

It was like the artist was unsure whether to cover King Charles in all the blood the British Empire spilled. Or cover him in the flames of hell. So he thought ah f*ck it, and did both.

With you all the way.

For anyone interested, this is what an almost #GoodFryDayAgreement compliant #UlsterFry looks like. It has NO mushrooms, NO beans, NO hash browns, NO tomatoes, NO vegetable roll, NO chippy sassidges and definitely NO panckes, chips, toast or black and/or white pudding.

Re Casement Park. GAA statement thanks " Gaels" for their support. Who are they referring to? Sounds divisive!

Excellent article. Complete hypocrites.

There were 81 murders in the North in 1989. The IRA carried out 57 of them. All those victims are being asked to let go of the past. When it comes to the 1989 murder of Pat Finucane, Sinn Fein demands justice & accountability. Hypocrisy is the only word. independent.ie/opinion/eilis-…

Watch this fantastic 1970s news report on the slow demise and then death of ‘porter’ - the poor man’s drink. A poignant eulogy to ‘the dark stuff’. Brilliant.

Difference is an accident of birth. Difference is of the essence of humanity. Respect for difference is the first and deepest principle of real peace. Today, on John Hume’s 4th anniversary, his core belief is more important than ever.

Utterly magnificent: Ireland win their first Test match at home, with Derry-born Andy McBrine, who batted gloriously, striking the winning runs. Hot sunshine at Stormont, brilliant setup for the fans, and the Zimbabwean supporters are still cheering a team that really competed.

Brilliant

On This Day in 2007, Danny Rose signed for the club. Will always remember that debut goal 🙌

Realism rules.

This week's column: Preparing for a united Ireland may seem sensible, but the idea that Irish unity is inevitable and imminent didn’t come from nowhere. It's a branch of republican activism that's at odds with the facts and is potentially dangerous independent.ie/opinion/eilis-…
